Always time for Kids    While in City Park photographing Jon & Paige’s E-Session, I had this group of kids approach me as I was moving my gear from one area to another.  In normal kid fashion they approached me and said “Hey Mister, Are You Taking Pictures”?  I briefly explained to them what I was doing which was received with the usual response “Wanna Take Our Picture”?  I looked ahead and noticed that Nikolette (my assistant / 2nd shooter for the day) was working with Jon & Paige on some candid type pics (which brought a smile to my face because she was truly interested in the session and not just carrying equipment). Being that Nikolette was keeping the couple engaged I quickly snapped off a couple of pics of the kids.  I LOVE these tiny brief challenges of quickly finding out a little something about the kids in order to get a genuine smile or emotion other than the typical “cheeeeeeeeeeeesy” smile.  I gave the kids my card and told them to have their parents email me and that I’d be happy to send them the files, but unfortunately I still have yet to receive an email.  I photograph a lot in that park, so hopefully I’ll run across them yet again.
